updated every Sunday eveining, but this isnt guarnteed. We are volunteers and
we don't get paid for this. |
- If a participant wishes to dispute the
result of a game then they should email '[email protected]'
outlining the nature of the dispute and what they believe the final VP totals
were\if anyone conceded. |
- Disputes are resolved entirely at the
discression of the league organisers and can result in a game being declared
void and needing to be replayed, a result being overturned or the origional
result being upheld. |
Match-ups |
- At the start of each month 2 match-ups
will be generated for each player. You should aim to complete your match-ups
by the end of the month. |
- The first months matchups for a season
will be semi-random and will include an attempt to pair equal factions
against each other. |
- Matchups for subsequent months will
involve players playing the two players who are nearest to them in the table
that they haven't yet played a game against that season. |
A) Basic rules: |
1) Have fun. This league is mainly
for fun and it is not intended as an uber competative league. If you want to
chase the latest meta build and are looking for games like that then you
might do better looking for tournemnets to take part in. |
2) Try to win: Whilst fun is the
main driving factor behind the league, this still a league. People you play
will try their hardest to win. Don't be upset if someone says you can't take
back a move or go back and do something you forgot in a previous phase. |
3) Be prompt: Results must be
submitted within 7 days of of the end of a season to be included. |
4) Participants who are repeatedly
the subject of disputed results, reports of 'slow play' or of being 'that
guy' (rules layer, subtle cheating like picking up one to many dice or pick
up put down movement creep, etc.) may be removed from the league and temporarily\permanently
bared from taking part. |
5) Removal from the league on
either a temporary or permanent basis and/or any other sanctions are entirely
at the discression of the league organisers. |
6) At no point and in no way are
the organisers of this league responsible for anything that may happen to you
whilst undertaking a league game, or that may arise from being a member of
this league. |
B) Game play rules: |
1) The rules listed below are the
standard rules by which league games will be played. |
2) If both you and you opponent
agree in advance then you can ignore\change the game play rules for your game
e.g. Appocolypse league game? Only have time for a 1k point game? Want to use
Legends models? |
3) If you want a variation in the
rules but your opponent doesn't then respect their choice. They are under no
obligation to agree. |
4) Games will use the current
'Matched Play' rules from Games Workshop in place at the time of the game,
this includes extra VP for having a fully 'Battle Ready ' painted army. |
5) Games will have a points limit of
2k points. |
6) Each match will use a
predetermined deployment, mission rule and primary mission. These are listed
next to each match-up on the first page. |
7) Matched play supplements,
balance dataslates, rules in White Dwarf and new codex's are in effect from
the day of release. |
8) Games will take place using a
'good amount' of scenery, the more thematic the better and if in doubt add
more. At a minimum there should be: |
8a) Enough LOS blocking scenery in each deployment zone for both
participants to hide the bulk of their forces on Turn 1 |
8b) Sufficient LOS blocking and area terrain scenery between the two
deployment zones so that a close combat army won't be overly disadvantaged
when facing a gunline. |
9) All complete ground floor doors
and windows in all scenery will be treated as if they were filled in e.g.
they block line of sight as if it were a solid wall. |
10) Participants can only concede a
game during their turn. |
10a) Should a participant
concede a game they are deemed to have lost the game and their oponent to
have won the game, even if the conceding participant has more VP than their
opponent. |
10b) Both players VP's are totaled up to the point at which one
conceeded, and then the non-conceding player is asumed to have also scored
the maximum mission rule points available from that point, plus to have also
completed any secondaries they have drawn and still hold. |
11) If a game cannot be finnished
in the alloted time then both players should talk through the remaining turns
and attempt to estimate roughly how many VP's each could have scored. |
12) If players cannot agree on an
outcome from step 11 (game to close to call? could have gone either way?)
then scores up the the point at which both players have had an equal number
of turns should be calculated and used. |
C) League Scoring: |
1) Players earn 1 league point for
playing a game. |
2) Players earn 1 additional league
point for winning a game. |
3) Players are ranked by the
following in the order below: |
- League Points (more = better) |
- Victory Points (more = better) |
- Games Played (fewer = better) |
4) Players can only score league
points in the two games that have been generated for them by the league each
month, or when playing one of their games from a previous month that couldn't
happen at the time. |
